Well 4 years have pasted and I am headed back home. Thank you to those who have sent support through prayer, comments, emails or cash. I assisted small churches in the Mexico City area. We worked on many toy and food drives for Christmas and year round, as well as opening a lunch and homework center for kids Thank you to all. Frank

LET THEM EAT CHOCOLATE!!
I'll bet you're wondering "How can I help out in Mexico?" I have one of
many ways you can get involved, it's easy, it's cheap, you won't feel
guilty afterwards, you'll put a smile on a kid's face, and you'll help out
Rhema Bible Training Center. Our fundraising effort involves the selling
of Chocolate Bars (Photo Above) All the students are required to sell one
box of Chocolate Bars, I think we can do better, you see they are selling
thier Chocolate Bars locally to whomever. I had an idea that you could
buy a Chocolate Bar from us here in Mexico and in turn give it to one of
the many children in the Orphanage. I'll do all the leg work (I promise I
won't eat any of yours) Really you can buy one, you could buy ten, you
can buy a whole box full, price? $1.75 a bar, $50.00 a box, so if you plan
on giving more than $10.00 please donate over the website or mail a
check to:
Baylake Bank
Hwy 42
Fish Creek, WI 54212-0046
Payable to: RUBIO MINISTRIES MEXICO
For less than $10.00 please mail a check, the website donation button
won't except less the $10.00...not my rule. Then one last thing Email me
fgrubio@gmail.com and let me know how many Chocolate Bars you
bought, that way I can tell the children receiving those gift's your name.
Remember these kids over 300 in the two locations I work with, have no
luxuries you know like parents, somebody to do homework with them,
somebody to say "Hey great Job" after doing well in school, somebody
here on earth who loves them just for being. Well you get the idea.
Plus you buy yourself a "guilt free Chocolate Bar"
Above all, remember to pray for these young lives so full of potencial.
Thank You, Frank

Hurricanes Stan and Wilma gives us all a chance to Serve.
I left California with the devastation of Hurricane Katrina fresh on my
mind, little did I know how much more was on the way. The poorest
state in Mexico is Chiapas, that is where most of the destruction, loss
of families, homes, livelyhoods and the like took place. Words can't
discribe what was shown repeatedly on the news, you all have a good
perspective in the light of Katrina but it still just blows me away how
fragile and vulnerable we all are. For the last 4 weeks here at Rhema
we have partnered up with various churhes and given a helping hand
to those in the wake of the past two Storms. Cash, Clothes, Food, Care
Packages, Survival kits (Batteries etc.) and lots of Prayer have been
collected and centralized at one of the local Faith Christian Centers.
It has been a joy to serve, I made quite a few trips with David Diaz in
the Church Van. The Church Van, wow a few years ago I would have
never placed myself driving an oversized white van filled with the
needs of others. God does work miracles in peoples hearts.
Below you will see pictures of some of the people involved, I wish I
would have more pictures, but people kept telling me to quit messing
around ( somethings don't change) The neighborhood that the collection
center was located in was a bit dicey, oh well. Even in the poor
neighborhoods people were ready to give.
